US: The Dow Jones Index Closes 0.98% Higher.

The Dow Jones Index gained 509 points or 0.98 percent on Friday to close at 52573 points. Gains were led by Cisco Systems (4.38%), IBM (3.89%) and Boeing (2.77%). Biggest losers were UnitedHealth (-2.47%), Amgen (-1.34%) and Merck (-0.47%).
