Latvia: Current Account Deficit Narrows.

Latvia's current account deficit narrrowed to €155 million in July 2026, compared with €327 million in the same period last year. The goods account deficit narrowed to EUR 490 million as export growth (15.4%) outpaced imports (9.9%). The primary income account swung to a surplus of EUR 42 million, compared with a deficit of EUR 40 million a year earlier, while the secondary income surplus more than doubled to EUR 108 million. In contrast, the services account narrowed to EUR 184 million.
