Indonesia: Home Price Growth Picks Up in Q2.

Residential property prices in Indonesia rose by 0.69% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, following a 0.62% increase in the previous quarter, which had marked the softest growth since the data series began in 2003. The modest pickup was driven by stronger gains in several cities, although trends across housing segments remained mixed. Annual price growth slowed for small houses to 0.49% (vs. 0.61% in Q1) and for medium-sized houses to 0.83% (vs. 0.88%), while large houses accelerated to 0.68% (vs. 0.50%). Among the 18 cities included in the survey, 10 reported faster annual house price growth, with the sharpest acceleration seen in Samarinda, where prices rose 3.23% after edging down 0.03% in the previous quarter. Meanwhile, Pontianak remained the weakest market, with prices falling 0.10% after a 0.27% decline in Q1, while Batam continued to record one of the strongest annual increases at 2.63%.
