USA: Week Ahead - Jun 22nd.
The return of tankers crossing the Strait of Hormuz will be the focus next week after the US and Iran agreed to lift their blockade on the chokepoint. On the data front, the US will release the personal income and spending aggregates, which include the PCE price index, and durable goods orders. Leading indicators are also featured with S&P PMIs, the UMich consumer confidence index, and regional Fed indexes. Leading indicators are also the focus in Europe, including PMIs, the GfK, Ifo, CBI, and European Commission confidence surveys for their respective countries. Japan, India, and Australia will post their PMIs, while latter will release inflation rates and employment figures and China will unveil industrial profits. Also, the BoJ will release its Summary of Opinions.
