Denmark: Current Account Narrows in January.
Denmarkâs seasonally adjusted current account surplus narrowed to DKK 35.4 billion in January 2026 from a downwardly revised DKK 39.7 billion in the previous month. The goods account surplus decreased to DKK 26.8 billion from DKK 31.8 billion, weighed down by a 6.5% drop in exports. At the same time, the primary income surplus shrank to DKK 6.9 billion to DKK 8 billion in December 2025. In contrast, the services account surplus widened to DKK 4.4 billion from DKK 3.4 billion, while the secondary income deficit also narrowed, declining to DKK 0.6 billion from DKK 1.5 billion.
