Rwanda: Producer Inflation at 16-Month High.

Producer prices in Rwanda increased 13.0% year-on-year in July 2025, accelerating from a 11.9% gain in the previous month and marking the eighth consecutive month of producer inflation. The latest reading was also the highest producer inflation rate since March 2024, with manufacturing prices rising much faster (16.2% vs. 14.9% in June), while mining and quarrying remained steady at 1.1%. Meanwhile, prices in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply activities remained unchanged. On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 1.3% in July, accelerating from a 0.6% gain in June, marking the third consecutive monthly increase.
