9 September 2026, 09:14  Lithuania: Producer Inflation Hits Highest Since 2023.

Producer prices in Lithuania rose by 13.6% year-on-year in August 2026, following an 11.5% increase in the previous month. This marked the highest reading since February 2023, as price growth picked up in manufacturing (13.6% vs 11.0% in July), lifted by stronger gains in the production of coke and refined petroleum products (66.6% vs 50.1%). Moreover, costs increased in mining and quarrying (3.8% vs 3.5%). Meanwhile, inflation moderated in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (10.9% vs 16.6%) and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (5.3% vs 5.8%). On a monthly basis, producer prices grew by 1.2% in August, easing from a three-month high of 2.1% in the preceding period.
