Poland’s corporate employment fell 0.8% year-on-year in August 2026 to 6.368 million, matching the pace of decline recorded in July. This was the 35th consecutive month of decline in corporate employment, highlighting continued weakness in corporate hiring conditions. On a monthly basis, employment edged down 0.2%. In the first eight months of the year, average paid employment dropped by 1.0% to 6.384 million.
