The number of unemployed was unchanged from June at 11.264 million. Meanwhile, youth unemployment stood edged down to 14.9% from 15% in the prior month, with 2.371 million young people under 25 unemployed. Among the major economies in the bloc, Spain (10%), France (8.3%), and Italy (7.8%) recorded the highest rates.
