Italy's trade deficit narrowed to 588 mln eur in June from 1.181 bln a year earlier, the statistics office ISTAT said. Exports rose 8.3 pct year-on-year to 25.731 bln eur and imports increased 5.6 pct to 26.319 bln, it said. In the first six months of the year, the deficit widened to 6.857 bln eur from 3.906 bln, as exports rose 6.3 pct year-on-year to 143.102 bln and imports rose 8.3 pct to 149.960 bln.
