New York, Sept. 4 (BridgeNews) - Devon Energy Corp. (DVN) agreed to acquire Anderson Exploration Ltd. (AXN) for around $4.6 billion. This includes Devon's assumption of Anderson's $1.2 billion of debt and other obligations. The deal will make Devon North America's largest independent producer of oil and natural gas.
