4 September 2001, 10:30 Nikkei Bounces To Avoid 6th Straight Fall
The Nikkei 225 ended up 363 points, or 3.49%, at 10,773. Leaders included computer associated
stocks, buoyed by the Hewlwtt/Compaq deal. The Index had fallen for five
straight days, setting consecutive 17-year closing lows.
